I've got a 2018 Giulia Veloce that I absolutely adore, it's just such a beautiful car to drive and look at, but yesterday on my way home from work the engine started shuddering and the check engine light started flashing, which I know is never a good sign. I pulled over immediately and the car was idling really rough, almost like it was running on three cylinders, and I could smell a bit of fuel too which made me worry even more. I had to get it towed home because I didn't want to risk driving it and making things worse, and now I'm just staring at it in the driveway trying to figure out what to do next. I've read so many stories about these engines having issues with the multi-air system or injectors failing, and I'm honestly terrified that it's going to be something major that costs a fortune to fix. The thing that's stressing me out the most is finding somewhere that actually knows how to work on these cars properly, because I've heard that a lot of general workshops won't touch Alfa Romeos or don't have the right diagnostic equipment to properly troubleshoot them. I'm in Abu Dhabi and I've been searching for
reliable Alfa Romeo repair in Abu Dhabi, but I'm not sure which places actually have experience with these modern multisport engines. Has anyone else experienced a misfire on their Giulia and can tell me what the problem ended up being, and where you took it to get sorted? I'm genuinely worried about this car and any advice would be massively appreciated right now.
